Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals (Sidpec) was established in 1997 as the first petrochemicals company in Egypt Under Egyptian investment law. The Company`s polymer portfolio includes linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) and high density polyethylene (HDPE), which are used in different applications, including film, blow molding and injection molding. More detailed the company products include plastic bags, heavy duty sacks, agricultural films, containers, pallets, boxes, dustbins, toys and container tanks. Sidpec produces 300,000 tons of ethylene; 225,000 tons of polyethylene; 10,000 tons of Butane-1, and 50,000 tons of butane annually.
