United Housing & Development Co. (S.A.E.) is a real estate company based in Alexandria, Egypt. It was established in March 1907 under the name "The Graves Lands Company" and later changed its name to "The United Company for Housing and Development" in January 1965. The company is a joint stock company that was formed through the merger of five other companies, including the Egyptian Business Company for Building and Agriculture Lands, the Egyptian Real Estate Shareholding Company, Alexandria Real Estate Company, the Lower Real Estate Company, and the Real Estate Shareholding Company for Swords Inspection. The United Housing & Development Co. has a long history in the real estate sector and is one of the oldest companies operating in Egypt. It has a proven track record of achievements over its 113 years of operation. The company has developed and sold approximately 10 million square meters of land in Alexandria and sold around 250 thousand square meters of integrated real estate projects. Currently, the company holds a portfolio of lands with an area of 425,000 square meters in the Seyouf area of Alexandria, which is known for its high population density. United Housing & Development Co. is a public company listed on the Egyptian Exchange since December 1994.
