China Environmental Technology Holdings Limited (CETH) is an environmental protection company based in Hong Kong. The company was incorporated in the Cayman Islands on August 31, 2001, and listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong on March 28, 2002. CETH is primarily engaged in the provision of technology, products, equipment, and system integration related to wastewater treatment. In April 2010, CETH acquired Fanhe (Beijing) Water Investment Co, Ltd, and in November 2010, it acquired Beijing Jingrui Kemai Water Purification Technology Co Ltd. These acquisitions marked the company's official entry into the wastewater treatment and patented water purification businesses in China. It was the first step in CETH's future development of environmental protection technology and related industries. In November 2011, CETH established a wholly foreign-owned enterprise company called Beijing Shuoqiang Innovative Environmental Technology Co., Ltd (Beijing Shuoqiang) in partnership with Beijing Capital (Hong Kong) Limited. Beijing Shuoqiang is involved in the investment and operation of urban environmental projects, sales and provision of special purpose environmental equipment, technology promotion, and consultation services related to magnetic separation water treatment equipment. The Group obtained an "Invention Patent Certificate" and a "High-tech Enterprise Certificate" in 2012 for its state-of-the-art magnetic separation water treatment technology. CETH is mainly held by Gentle International Holdings Limited, with its core shareholder being Beijing Capital (Hong Kong) Limited. Beijing Capital (Hong Kong) Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing Capital Co., Ltd, a leading large-scale state-owned water treatment company in China listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
