Midland Holdings Limited is one of the largest real estate agency companies in Hong Kong. It successfully strengthened its leading position in the market after the decline in the Hong Kong property market from 1997 to 2003. In the late 1990s, Midland expanded its business to the primary market. In 2000, the company acquired Hong Kong Property, which was one of the major players in the market at the time, further solidifying its market leadership. In 2007, Midland Holdings Limited became the first listed company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange specializing in industrial and commercial property agency services. In August 2008, it transferred from the GEM board to the main board of the Stock Exchange (stock code: 459). The company was previously known as Midland Shops Limited and is a related institution of the group.
