Shanghai Industrial Holdings Limited (referred to as "SIHL") is a company located in Hong Kong. It was incorporated in January 1996 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on May 30th of the same year. SIHL is currently included in the MSCI China Index and the Hang Seng Composite Index. It is also qualified for the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect. As of the end of December 2022, SIHL's total assets amounted to HKD 193.9 billion. SIHL is the largest overseas comprehensive enterprise of Shanghai Industrial (Group) Co., Ltd. As the flagship company of Shanghai Industrial (Group), SIHL is able to seize domestic investment opportunities and leverage the advantages of Hong Kong and Shanghai. After more than 20 years of development, SIHL has become a comprehensive enterprise with three core businesses: infrastructure (including toll roads/bridges, environmental protection-related businesses such as sewage treatment and solid waste treatment), real estate, and consumer products (including Nan Yang Tobacco and Wing Fung Printing). In the infrastructure sector, SIHL owns three toll roads in Shanghai, including the Shanghai section of the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, the Shanghai section of the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway, and the Shanghai section of the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway. It also holds a 23.0584% equity interest in the Hangzhou Bay Bridge. These toll roads/bridges serve as important transportation links between Shanghai and northwest, southwest, and west China, as well as coastal cities in Shanghai and Zhejiang Province, providing stable income and cash flow for the company. In addition, SIHL has two water business platforms: SIIC Environment Holdings Limited (listed in Singapore and Hong Kong) and China Water Affairs Group Limited. SIHL has also made investments in the new frontier business, including photovoltaic power generation, offshore wind power, and radiopharmaceuticals. In the real estate sector, SIHL's assets include Shanghai Industrial Urban Development Group Limited (listed in Hong Kong) and Shanghai Industrial Development Co., Ltd. (listed in Shanghai). These assets cover various regions such as Shanghai, the eastern coastal area, the Yangtze River Delta, the Bohai Rim, as well as second and third-tier cities in central and western China. With lower land costs and excellent management and operation teams, SIHL's real estate business demonstrates significant appreciation and profit potential. SIHL's consumer products business includes two companies: Nan Yang Tobacco and Wing Fung Printing. Nan Yang Tobacco produces and sells various brands of cigarettes, with production facilities in Hong Kong and products sold to nearly 80 countries and regions overseas. Wing Fung Printing is one of the oldest large-scale printing companies in Hong Kong, mainly engaged in paper packaging printing, paper packaging material supply, and other related services. Its business is distributed in Hong Kong and multiple provinces in mainland China, with a focus on cigarette packaging, liquor packaging, and high-end boutique paper mold businesses. The consumer products business has consistently provided stable profits and cash flow for SIHL.
