ASSA Compañía de Seguros Honduras S.A. began operating known as Hannover Insurance Company. During the years, the company changes multiples times its name. In 2009 was known as American Home Assurance, in 2013 changed to Chartis Seguros, in 2014 the AIG mark was re-established and the company was renamed to AIG Seguros. It was keeping this name until 2015 when ASSA Compañía Tenedora started a process of acquisition and, in 2017, the company obtained its actual name - ASSA Compañía de Seguros Honduras S.A. The company offers insurance products in the lines of life, accidents, property, vehicles and medical insurance to the personal and corporate segments.
