Grupo Financiero FICOHSA is a company located in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. It was incorporated in 1991 as Financiera Comercial Hondureña S.A. In 1994, Banco FICOHSA, S.A. was founded as a result of the partners' conviction to continue investing in the country and the success of the financial company. FICOHSA Casa de Cambio, the first authorized currency exchange in Honduras, started operating in 1992. In 1993, FICOHSA Casa de Bolsa was established and actively operates in the national stock market. In 1996, FICOHSA Seguros, a company with a long history in the insurance market in Honduras, was acquired.
