Motim Electrocorundum Ltd. (a filial to Motim Co. Ltd.) is a fully Hungarian, private-owned company that has long been committed to manufacturing high quality alumina-based fused grains for the abrasive, refractory and ceramic industries. Our fused alumina production started in 1951, which was later followed by that of fused mullite in 1983 and fused magnesite spinel in 1986 - both based on a patent of our own.
Today, with 230 employees we make an average yearly turnover of USD 25 million, the majority of which is obtained from exports to highly demanding markets.
