Nestlé Hungária Kft. deals with manufacturing and wholesale of confectioneries, coffee, cocoa powder, instant drink powders, breakfast cereals, mineral water, pet food, baby food, ice-cream and flavouring extracts. Besides the domestic market, the significant part of Nestlé's production is sold on foreign markets; in several product categories the Hungarian plants serve as regional manufacturing and distribution bases. The company also produces milk based sweets, where it has a significant market presence, and as ice-cream producer - through its subsidiaries - it is the second largest on the local market. Nestlé Hungária Kft. was founded in 1991. The company has four Hungarian factories: in Szerencs it manufactures coffee and cocoa products, in Diósgyőr it produces hollow chocolate figures, Bük is the regional pet food center while in Kékkút the company bottles mineral water.
