Robert Bosch GmbH acquired the 50 % share held by ZF Friedrichshafen AG in the previous joint venture ZF Lenksysteme GmbH on 30 January 2015. ZF Lenksysteme Hungária Kft. was the previously name of the company, it was founded in June 2003. in Eger. The company is a pacesetter and trendsetter in the field of steering systems for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. All the group’s business divisions are represented at the Eger site of Robert Bosch Automotive Steering GmbH and it even has its own customer service. The products that roll off its production lines are destined primarily for the European market.
