Salgglas (ZRt.) -securing over 110-year old experience and tradition - has been operating in its current form since 1996.
The production of glass panes started in 1893 here, in the first glass factory of Hungary.
In addition to traditional drawn plate-glass production - through significant development - over the past decades, the company introduced modern safety glass production in Salgótarján.
At present, Salgglas ZRt. manufactures tempered and glued safety glass for primary and secondary installation, for different passenger vehicles, as well as agricultural and industrial utility vehicles; furthermore, it produces special glued safety glass that represent hurl-proof, fracture-proof and bullet-proof glass structures.
