Takarek Jelzalogbank Nyrt.(Takarék Mortgage Bank Co Plc.) is a Hungarian bank headquartered in Budapest, established in 1997, until June 2018 the previous name of the bank was FHB Jelzalogbank Nyrt.. The bank provides mortgage services and refinancing of mortgage loans. TJB finances the players (and their aims) in the economy with long-term development loans, for which the needed funds are created by the issue of a new security, the covered mortgage bond (CMB). The Bank introduced its New Strategic Plan in February 2006 to expand its banking activity and branch network. The Bank set up new subsidiaries besides the already existing FHB Services Ltd., specifically FHB Commercial Bank Ltd, FHB Real Estate Trading and Valuation Ltd., and FHB Annuity and Real Estate Investment Ltd.
