Wamsler SE is a company located in Salgotarjan, Hungary. It was established in 1992 as the successor of Salgotarjani Vasontode es Tuzhelygyar, which has been manufacturing household ovens, cookers, and heating appliances for over 100 years since 1894. Wamsler SE merged with Wamsler GmbH from Germany (Munich) in 1992. Today, it is the largest "stove factory" in Central Europe, fully owned by Hungarian private ownership, after expanding with Iparfem Kft. and Matrafutober Kft. The company mainly exports its products to the German, Austrian, and Dutch markets, but also holds a significant market share in Hungary. Wamsler SE has modern and productive equipment in its technological areas. It uses over 10,000 tons of sheet metal and produces 4,500 tons of cast iron annually, with 2,500 tons being incorporated into its appliances.
