Zalakerámia, one of the largest floor tile and sanitary ware production companies of Eastern-Central Europe, due to the continuous investments, currently has a production capacity of 7mn sqm, at the Romhány plant 1.9mn sqm of floor tiles while in Tófej 5.15mn wall tiles can be manufactured. Zalakerámia owns and operates seven showrooms and its products can also be purchased in more than 1,000 retail stores throughout the country. In 2007 Zalakeramia had a 1.86% market share in terms of revenue among the Hungarian companies dealing with nonmetallic mineral products manufacturing.
