Pt Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk (Indonesia)

The Company is a holding company that operates businesses in the thermal coal, logistics, land, investment, and electricity segments, with operational areas covering South Kalimantan, South Sumatra, and Central Kalimantan. The business model of the Company and its subsidiaries (“Group”) includes a supply chain with coal mines as the starting point of operations to power plants as the end point of its vertical integration.
History
2004
The company was established in Jakarta under the name PT Alam Tri Abadi.
2005
The Company acquired AI, a thermal coal company that has a PKP2B with the Indonesian Government and has started commercial production in 1992 under the Envirocoal trademark.
2006
AI production increased by more than 28 from the previous year to 34.4 million tonnes
2009
The Company acquired AL, which already had a subsidiary, MBP, with ownership of 99.83 .
2011
The company set foot in South Sumatra through the acquisition of MIP
2012
ATM was founded under the name PT Sarana Rekreasi Mandiri
2013
The Company acquired SCM, LSA and PCS, which have three IUPs in concessions near the operational area, resulting in the Company owning 75 of the shares each in SCM, LSA and PCS.
2014
Commercial production of coal from SCM has commenced, with production of 890 thousand tonnes.
2016
-Establishment of strategic partnership between AI and EGAT International Company Limited (EGATi). AI issued 57,857 shares or 11.53 of the issued shares, and the new shares issued by AI were purchased by EGATi. The proceeds from the sale of shares amounting to US 325 million will be used to strengthen AI s financial position.
-PT Sarana Rekreasi Mandiri changed its name to PT Adaro Tirta Mandiri with the main business of water management through a drinking water supply system.
2017
The listing of its subsidiary, Arindo Mauritius, on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius (SEM). The listing raised 12.1 million. The listing enables Arindo Mauritius to increase access to capital and provide greater financial flexibility for planning and financing future growth.
2019
-Commercial production of coal from MIP has begun, with production of 300 thousand tonnes.
-AI successfully issued investment grade bonds (BBB- from Fitch Credit Rating) worth 750,000,000
2022
KPI was established. KPI will develop a 1,060 MW PLTU in an industrial area in North Kalimantan
2023
-Coal production from AI, SCM, LSA, MIP reached a record high of 60.77 million tonnes.
-AI received the Gold PROPER award, the highest award in the field of environmental management from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry for the fifth consecutive year (out of a total of six times).
2024
-The company changed its name to PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia
-In June 2024, the Company purchased all shares owned by AP in KPI.
