KSE Ltd., located in Thrissur, is a public limited company that was incorporated in 1963 as Kerala Solvent Extractions Ltd. They entered the Solvent Extraction Industry and established the first solvent extraction plant in Kerala. In 1972, the plant became operational, and in 1976, a new plant was set up to manufacture ready mixed cattle feed. With around 4500 shareholders, KSE Ltd. is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). They are the largest manufacturer of compound cattle feed in the private sector in India. Over the past three decades, KSE has become a leader in solvent extraction and ready mixed cattle feed. They have the resources, expertise, and infrastructure to produce a range of livestock feed in high volumes, as well as coconut oil from coconut oil cake and refined edible oil. KSE has also ventured into milk procurement and processing. Their products, KS Milk, KS Ghee, and Vesta Ice Cream, have gained popularity in many districts in Kerala.
