Pratap Snacks Private Limited is a part of the BCM Group. Pratap became operational in January 2010 with manufacturing facility for potato chips, its pioneer product. Subsequently, the company diversified into "Puffs" and other snacks during 2010-2011. Pratap has also started new products like "Namkeens" and "Rings" in order to widen the range of the products the company offers. In 2012, the business of a group company, previously Prakash Snacks Private Limited (Prakash), was purchased by Pratap, leading to a significant increase in scale of operations of Pratap.
