Fiber Intermediate Products Co. (FIPCO) is an Iranian company established in 1992. It is the only producer in Iran of Dimethyl Terephthalate (DMT) in its factory located in Isfahan. The Isfahan plant was designed and built by German engineering and construction firms. It has an annual capacity of 90000 tons of DMT. This material is used in the production of coated fabrics, flooring, cables, furniture and toys. The company also has plans to develop a DMT derivatives plant. The company’s production is marketed domestically or exported to the region of Middle and Far East.
