The Main Activity of the Company is Generation and sale of electricity to natural and legal persons, purchase of fuel required by the power plant, taking measures to improve efficiency, optimization and capacity development of the power plant ،Conducting all electricity trading activities and other energy carriers to reduce the risk and increase the profitability of the company،Supply and supply of tools, equipment and consumables needed for the company s activities
The Company was established as a private joint stock company under a registration number 397353 on 14 February 2011 .
The Company Changed its legal form to be public joint stock Company On 12 February 2018
The Company was listed in Iran Fara bourse On 1 May 2018 .
General characteristics of Gilan combined cycle power plant:
1- Number of gas units: 6 units with a nominal power of 2.143 MW and a total of 2.859 MW.
2- Number of steam units: 3 units with a nominal power of 8.148 MW and a total of 4.446 MW.
3 -Total nominal capacity of Gilan power plant: 6.1305 MW - practical capacity in winter 1240 MW and in summer 1172 MW
4- The main fuel of the power plant: natural gas supplied through a branch from the national gas pipeline of the country
5 - The second fuel of the power plant: diesel with the possibility of storing 154 million liters in 8 existing metal tanks, with the possibility of supplying it by branching from the national liquid fuel pipeline of the country, as well as fuel tankers.
6- Power transmission lines in the direct substation of the power plant: 10 230 kV lines and 2 400 kV lines
