The Iran Refractories Company (IREFCO) was founded in 1973 with the goal of addressing the country's industrial demands for different kinds of refractories. It began production in 1977 with a notional capacity of 48,000 tons. IREFCO's diverse product range, which has received particular attention in development projects in addition to the original design of the production line, has made this company one of the country's remarkable plants in the refractory sector.
