Kavir Tire Co. is an Iranian tire producer, set up in 1987. The company’s manufacturing facilities were completed in 1998 with an annual capacity of 25,500 tons of tires. Currently, it produces 27,900 tons, but its future expansion plans envisage the production to reach 70,000 tons. Kavir factory is situated on a 112 ha of land in the city of Birjand, Eastern Iran. It accounts for 22% of the national production of tires.
