West Azarbaijan Pegah Dairy Company Public Joint Stock, located in Urmia, is a dairy company with over 40 years of experience in the production and processing of dairy products. It is one of the largest dairy units in the country. The company supplies 73 types of products in various packages under the brand names of Pegah, Lavin, and Atiyeh to both domestic and foreign markets. The milk technology in Urmia was initially carried out by Rezaie Pasteurized Milk and Dairy Company (Limited Liability) and was later taken over by the private sector in 1993. In 1999, it was purchased from the Mustazfan Foundation by the family of Sanae Shir Iran Company and merged, resulting in the establishment of West Azarbaijan Pegah Dairy Company Public Joint Stock.
