Injaz For Development And Projects (Public Shareholding Company) is located in Amman. It was founded in 1999 as a project under a USAID-funded program and became an independent, nonprofit Jordanian organization in 2001. Injaz's mission is to inspire and prepare youth to become productive members of society and contribute to the development of the national economy. They aim to bridge the skills gap between the educational system and the changing needs of the labor market. Injaz offers a portfolio of programs that address the needs of young Jordanians. These programs focus on developing soft and hard skills such as life skills, financial education, entrepreneurship and business skills, digital skills, and social leadership. The organization has developed its own programs in consultation with local and regional experts and has collaborated with international development organizations to bring new, high-impact programs to Jordan. Injaz has been successful in achieving high rates of female participation in its programs, with female students making up more than 60 percent of beneficiaries at the school and university levels each year. Additionally, student teams for project-based programs are led by both young women and young men.
