Union Land Development (ULD) is a Jordanian company, established in 1995, through the merger between the Jordan Gulf Company for Real Estate Investments and Petra for Projects and Equipment Rentals. In June 2004, ULD acquired the Middle East and Commodore Hotels Company. The company is engaged in real estate operations primarily in the commercial and tourism industries. Its activities include investments in land and real estate for residential, commercial, touristic, recreational and industrial use, as well as investment, construction and operation of hotel chains, land subdivision and sale, general construction and development, and maintenance and facility management. Among UDL completed projects are Um Uthaina Building, 3rd Circle Building and Wadi Saqra Apartments. Union Land Development owns six wholly owned real estate and contracting subsidiaries.
