KEPCO expanded its business portfolio in overseas transmission and distribution through electric power sources including countries like Myanmar, Philippines, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Libya, Ghana, Ukraine, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Egypt, Azerbaijan, West Africa, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan. The company purchases its electric power from Korea Power Exchange, a non-profit organization regulating power transmission and distribution as well as management of the power market. KEPCO is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. The company was incorporated in 1961.
