The Company operates in the oil and gas industry. The Company carries out marine and oil contracting and construction activities, and offers support services and maintenance works. The Company invests its surplus funds in managed financial portfolios and in equities of other firms conducting similar activities. The Company has two subsidiaries, International Marine Construction Company (100 ) and Kuwait Drilling Company (51 ), and holds stakes in Kuwaiti Rocks Company (30 ) and Easter United Petroleum Services Co. (40 ).
The Company was established in the State of Kuwait, as a holding company with a capital of 23 Million KWD. Since 1973, CMS has built a capital structure of diversified investments, established and acquired subsidiaries to guarantee maximum profit with sustainable growth and minimal risk to share holders and has grown into one of the largest holding companies in the State of Kuwait.
During the course, The Company has diversified into an operational organization providing turn-key solutions, services, technologies and products for Oil Gas (Upstream Downstream - Onshore Offshore), Electricity, Power, Water, Infrastructure and Marine Industries.
The Company performs operations directly and through its subsidiaries - KDC, IMCC Zone Global Logistics in Kuwait and Joint Operations (partitioned zone between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia). CMS has successfully executed D WO contracts in Libya until 2014 and is currently on track for permanent operational expansion into Bahrain Saudi Arabia.
The Company also provides local representation / sponsorships to a multitude of international and regional companies and has strategic partnerships / joint ventures with select entities towards a common goal in Kuwait.
The Company was established in 13th, September 1973 ,and registered under registeration number 19481on 19th january 1974 ,and listed in Kuwait stock Exchanges in 29 September 1984.
The Company delisted from Kuwait stock Exchange on 6 July 2017.
The Company listed again on Kuwait Stock Market-OTC market on 18 November 2018.
