National Mobile Telecommunications Co, also known as Wataniya is a Kuwaiti telecommunication company headquartered in Safat in Kuwait. It was incorporated in 1997 but it was commercially launched in 1999 and it has been listed in Kuwait stock exchange since 1999. In May 2014 the company announced that it adopted the new global brand Ooredoo. It provides mobile, fixed, broadband internet, mobile telephone services and corporate managed services.
