The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) is an international financial institution designed to promote economic growth, expansion of trade and economic relations between them and the development of integration processes in Eurasia through investment. The Bank established by intergovernmental agreement signed January 12, 2006, authorized representatives of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Bank is owned by the Presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan. The main activity of the Bank is to contribute to the development of market economy, sustainable economic growth and expansion of mutual trade and economic relations.
