Bank of Beirut was incorporated in 1963 under the name of Realty Business Bank but it was changed to the current one in 1970. Today, the bank offers commercial banking and financial services through a network of branches across Lebanon, structured into two main divisions, Business and Personal. The Business division offers corporate banking, trade finance, project finance and Kafalat through its Lending Facilities subunit; treasury and foreign exchange services through its Capital Markets subunit; Special Services to Corporations, and Asset Management services. Its Personal banking division offers accounts, loans, savings plans, asset and funds management, transfers, and other special services. The Bank has operations in six countries, through subsidiaries, branches and representative offices.
