The Vehicle Parts and Services segment involves in the repair of passenger and commercial vehicles, and sale of vehicle spare parts, accessories, components, tires, and retreaded tires. The Lighting and Power Tools segment sells power tools and accessories, lamps, lighting fittings, and lighting accessories. The Construction and Material Handling Machinery segment engages in the sale and service of earth moving machinery, road construction machinery, fork-lifts, material handling machinery, racking systems, agri machinery, pumps, and dock levelers. The Electro Mechanical and Bio Medical Engineering segment sells, medical equipment, generating sets, turbines, diesel engines for marine propulsion, rail traction, building technologies, and industrial refrigeration power engineering. In addition, it manufactures retreaded tires. The company was incorporated in 1954 and is based in Colombo.
