Industrial Asphalts (Ceylon) Plc, also known as IAC, is an investment holding company located in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It was founded in 1964 by a group of Sri Lankan entrepreneurs and professionals with the goal of establishing a Sri Lankan presence in the bituminous products industry. IAC became the first 100% Sri Lankan owned entity to produce specialist bituminous products after Sri Lanka gained independence. In August 2021, IAC sold its Paints & Coatings Division to focus on capturing emerging opportunities. Today, IAC is involved in various ventures and investments, with a particular interest in the bitumen space.
