LTC Mobile (Liberia)

Liberia Telecommunications Corporation (LTC Mobile) is Liberia’s National Operator and sole licensed fixed-line telephone provider in the country. LTC MOBILE is the incumbent fixed lines and associated communications services provider. The company was formed to be a premier provider of telecommunications services in Liberia and the sole fixed-line provider entrusted to provide basic telecommunications services to the Government and the people of Liberia. LTC MOBILE has a license to provide telecommunications infrastructure and services throughout Liberia. It has an aggressive plan to re-build its network throughout Liberia, as well as connect to an international undersea fiber cable. As a first step, LTC MOBILE would like to put in a metropolitan fibre backbone around the city of Monrovia, which alone, will benefit approximately 40% of the total Liberian population which now lives in and around Monrovia.
