During the production season, called the campaign, and running from mid-September to end-December the sugar factory operates around the clock, seven days a week. In this period, Nordic Sugar Kedainiai receives and processes 600,000 tonnes of sugar beet which are turned into high-quality sugar and feed products. Around 200 truckloads of beets are delivered to Kedainiai every day of the campaign. The sugar beets are supplied by approx. 400 beet growers. The facility has a daily processing capacity of 5,900 tonnes of beet.
