Lietuvos Bankas is the central bank of the Republic of Lithuania, hedquartered in Vilneus. It has been incorporated on 1 March 1990 and conducts regular monitoring and analysis of the current macroeconomic developments and prepares medium-term macroeconomic projections. Lietuvos Bankas is included among the most important state institutions. In performing its activities, the bank is governed by the Republic of Lithuania’s Law.
