Lietuvos Draudimas AB is a Lithuanian insurer company, founded in 1921 and headquartered in Vilnius. The company operates as both - life- and non-life insurance provider. It was established following the acquisition of two insurance companies in 1997 - Draudimo Fondas UAB and Vaidra UAB. Now Lietuvos Draudimas is the largest universal insurer in the Baltic States. The Group is obviously the leader on the Lithuanian non-life and life insurance markets, holding 48% and 89% of the markets, respectively. The insurance products are sold through 48 sales points in all the largest Lithuanian cities, including all main industrial towns and regional centers.
