The Company provides seaborne transportation of petroleum products and chemicals worldwide to oil majors, national oil companies, oil and chemical traders, and chemical companies, with its modern, fuel-efficient fleet of mid-size product and chemical tankers and the Company operates its business in one operating segment, the transportation of refined petroleum products and chemicals.
Ardmore provides shipping services to customers through voyage charters, time charters, and commercial pools. It enjoys close working relationships with its key commercial and technical management partners, and views the continued development of these relationships as crucial to its continued success.

History:
2010: on April 15, 2010, The Company commenced operations through its predecessor company, an opportune time to create a new shipping company with ambitious long-term growth plans.
2013: on May 14, 2013, The Company was incorporated in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The company wholly owned subsidiary of Ardmore Shipping LLC and owns all of the outstanding equity interests in the owners of the vessels in our Initial Fleet and will own all of the outstanding equity interests in the owners of the vessels in our Expansion Fleet upon their expected delivery.
on 1 August 2013, The Company was listed in New York Stock Exchange .
