The Company provides seaborne transportation of petroleum products and chemicals worldwide to oil majors, national oil companies, oil and chemical traders, and chemical companies, with its modern, fuel-efficient fleet of mid-size product and chemical tankers.
The Company commenced operations through its predecessor company on April 15, 2010, an opportune time to create a new shipping company with ambitious long-term growth plans.
The Company was incorporated in the Republic of the Marshall Islands on May 14, 2013. The company wholly owned subsidiary of Ardmore Shipping LLC and owns all of the outstanding equity interests in the owners of the vessels in our Initial Fleet and will own all of the outstanding equity interests in the owners of the vessels in our Expansion Fleet upon their expected delivery.
The Company was listed in New York Stock Exchange in 1 August 2013.
