Agroplod AD Resen (North Macedonia)

Swisslion Agroplod LLC is a joint-stock Macedonia-based food producer established in 1967 under the name Agroplod. In 2006 local food producer Swisslion Ltd became a majority owner of the company and renamed it to Swisslion Agroplod.
The company produces roasted ground and confectionery coffee, grain food products (hazelnut, almonds, chick peas, cooking wheat etc), biscuits, agro-cream spread, snack products, candies with soft centers, baby food and breakfast cereals. In addition, Swisslion Agroplod is also engaged in food packaging, fruit growing, poultry and cattle breeding, wholesaling and retailing, food import and export, catering and tourism.
The company markets its products primarily on the domestic market (70%), but significant share is exported to the markets in the region. Swisslion Agroplod owns about 30 hectares of apple trees orchards, a poultry farm with capacity of 84 thousands chicken layers and a cold storage plant with capacity of 5 thousand tons.
The company has representative offices in Skopje, Zagreb and Ljubjana.
