Abc Banking Corporation Ltd. (Mauritius)

The Bank is engaged in activity relates to the provision of international financial services that give rise to “foreign source income”. Such services may be fund based and/or non-fund based and banking business other than segment B activity.
The Bank was incorporated on 21st November,1997 as a private Company and was converted to a public Company in 1998.
The Company has changed its name to ABC Banking Corporation Ltd on 21st April, 2010 and was granted a banking licence on 1st June, 2010.
The Bank moved its operations to the prestigious WEAL HOUSE which is strategically located in the heart of the nation s financial Capital at Place d Armes, Port Louis. WEAL HOUSE is thus the Head Office and main branch of ABC Banking Corporation.
On 18 January 2016, the bank achieved yet another milestone in its endeavour to become a partner of choice for its clients, by becoming the third bank to be listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius (“SEM”) through the Development and Enterprise Market (“DEM”).
Following a corporate reorganisation to separate its banking and non-banking activities, the Bank became a subsidiary of the newly created holding company, ABCB Holdings Limited, which now oversees both sectors. The reorganisation was effective on 2 April 2025 and was carried out through a Scheme of Arrangement under the Companies Act 2001.
This led to the delisting of the Bank's shares from the Development Enterprise Market and the listing of ABCB Holdings Limited shares on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius on 4 April 2025.
