Constance La Gaieté Company Limited (CLG) is a member company of the Constance Group and was incorporated in 1913. It is listed on the Development and Enterprise Market (DEM) of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius. CLG is primarily involved in sugarcane cultivation and produces around 10,000 tonnes of sugar annually from a harvested area of approximately 1,730 hectares. The company has centralized its milling activities on Deep River Beau Champ Milling Co. Ltd since 1998. CLG is also engaged in non-sugar agricultural activities and real estate development. In recent years, the company has diversified its production to include food crops, fruits, broilers, cattle rearing, and deer farming. CLG has also undertaken real estate projects to enhance the Constance and Centre de Flacq regions as a regional hub. They have completed a modern Headquarters complex and opened La Maison 1794, providing additional office space. The company is also progressing with morcellement projects in the Centre de Flacq and Boulet Rouge areas, including plans for a 5000 square meters Destination Mall. In November 2021, CLG opened the FnB outlet, Le Comptoir Café by Constance, within its compound. The company is currently working on a warehousing project in the area.
