The bank was created to serve the underbanked and underserved segments of the population, focusing on financial inclusion through accessible and simple banking products. Banco Azteca’s business activities include consumer credit, savings accounts, insurance, pension funds (Afore Azteca), remittances (Dinero Express), and digital banking services. It has one of the largest banking networks in Mexico, with over 1,900 branches and operations in Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, and the United States.
