Banco Banamex S.A., officially known as Banco Nacional de México, is a leading Mexican financial institution headquartered in Mexico City. Established on June 2, 1884, through the merger of Banco Nacional Mexicano and Banco Mercantil Mexicano, Banamex has played a pivotal role in Mexico’s banking history.
