"L'Oreal Mexico" is dedicated to the manufacturing and marketing of cosmetics and beauty products. It is a subsidiary of the French company "L'Oréal" with a presence in 130 countries. In Mexico the company began operations in 1962, although previously marketed its products through authorized dealers. It operates four divisions corresponding to the different distribution channels for its products: 1) General public products division (mass distribution); 2) Professional products division (distribution in beauty parlours); 3) Luxury products division (department stores distribution); and 4) Active cosmetics division (distribution in specialized pharmacies).
