Founded in 1993, Innopack S.A. de C.V. focuses on the development, production, selling and distribution of preforms and PET bottles, plastic lids, metallic crowns and polycarbonate bottle for the beverages industry. It joined group BEPENSA, and together they formed Envases Innovativos Peninsulares in Merida. The same year, Tapas Innovativas de Venezuela began to operate. In 1998, the company merged to the bottler group Corporacion del Fuerte (CDF) and started operations under the name Envases Innovativos de Tijuana. In 1999, Envases Innovativos de Morelia was created and in 2000 the subsidiaries of Torreon and Leon. After, in 2001 it founded the subsidiaries of Coatepec and Tampico. Finally, in 2008 it is acquired by Envases Universales. Innopack has 11 manufacturing facilities in Mexico, 3 more in Colombia, 2 in Venezuela and 1 in the Dominican Republic.
