ASSB is a joint venture of the State owned Guangxi Beibu Gulf Port International Group Co., Ltd. and Guangxi ShengLong Metallurgical Co., Ltd. This important project was driven by the Chinese and Malaysia governments to build the most competitive and advanced iron and steel enterprise in the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park. This project is designed by CISDI of the MCC and is executed by State owned enterprises such as Shanghai BaoYe Group Corp., Ltd., China 19th Metallurgical Corporation, China 22MCC Group Corporation Ltd. and Sinosteel Corporation. ASSB mainly produce high-speed steel rods, bars and H-bed with a total annual capacity of 3.5 million tons. ASSB currently has more than 3 thousand employees and is also the first iron and steel company in Malaysia that produces H-shape steel with full flow technology. ASSB aims to be a global, multinational company that focuses on the production, processing, distribution, trading and leading metallurgical technology process. With science as the theme and innovation as the driving force, ASSB remained persistent in going on the new industrialized road with the circular economy and sustainable development. The company is particularly establishing the most competitive enterprises with the new iron and steel brand, which makes positive contributions for the global economic development.
