Asas Dunia Berhad (ASAS) engages in property development, building construction, investment holding and property investment. The principal activities of the subsidiaries are property development and building construction, trading of building materials and provision of financial services. ASAS is principally engaged in property development. The company operates mainly in northern Peninsular Malaysia and is involved in townships development. The subsidiary is involved in the development of residential and commercial projects. The more notetable ones are namely Taman Impian, Impian Jaya, Impian Indah, Impian Ria, Impian Alma and Impian Jelatik. Others are Taman Seruling Emas, Taman Orkid and Taman Remia. In addition, ASAS has development projects such as double storey terrace houses in Taman Merak, three-storey bungalows at Desa Awan in Mk. Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, a double storey semi-detached light industry factory at Permatang Tinggi and single storey terrace houses at Taman Sungai Duri. ASAS is also involved in the manufacturing of building materials. The company was incorporated in 1982 and is based in Perai.
