Colform Group Berhad (Malaysia)

The Company was incorporated in Malaysia on 4 December 2023 under the Act as a private limited company under the name of Colform Group Sdn Bhd. Subsequently, the Company was converted to a public limited company on 28 May 2024 and assumed present name as Colform Group Berhad.
The Company is an investment holding company. Through the subsidiaries, they are principally involved in the manufacturing, processing and trading of steel products, as well as trading of building materials. The Company also provide supply and installation services using their steel products including IBS steel framing systems as well as project management services for construction projects.
History
The history of the Group can be traced back to 2003 when the Managing Director of the Group, Kang Ket Hung, initiated a joint venture through Kang Ming Trading with another company named Atas Abadi Sdn Bhd to venture into steel roofing manufacturing business. Under this arrangement, Colform Sdn Bhd was incorporated by 2 individuals who are a director and a shareholder of Atas Abadi Sdn Bhd on 11 February 2003, which were subsequently transferred to Atas Abadi Sdn Bhd on 10 March 2003. Thereafter, on 11 March 2003, Kang Ming Trading became a shareholder of CSB by subscribing new shares.
Since the entry of Kang Ming Trading as a shareholder in CSB, Kang Ket Hung, as a director and shareholder of Kang Ming Trading has been the Managing Director and has played a significant role in spearheading the business expansion and growth of the Group. Atas Abadi Sdn Bhd has had no involvement in the management and operations of Group during its tenure as a shareholder, until the disposal of its entire equity interest in CSB to Kang Ming Trading on 8 March 2023.
