Priceworth International Bhd (PWORTH)produces and distributes plywood and sawn timber, moulded and other processed wood products, trading of logs, the provision of wood processing services, timber extraction and property development. PWORTH produces a wide range of processed wood products including sawn timber, barecore board, fingerjoints, laminated timber, moulding products, wooden doors and window frames. The company has a logging contract to extract 12,000 ha of logs through its wholly owned subsidiary, Maxland Sdn Bhd. In addition, PWORTH is involved in distribution of log timber, provision of wood processing services and rental of kiln dry machinery. To note, the company owns and operates an integrated timber complex in Seguntor, Sabah. Log, which is the principal raw material, is sourced from long-term log supply agreements. The products are exported overseas, mainly to Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea and the Philippines. The company was established in 1996 and is based in Sandakan.
