The Company has been established with the objective of hydropower construcion and operation business. This project is constructed on Build, own, operate, Transfer (BOOT) model having its License period remaining is 30 years, after the license period, the project has to be transferred to Nepal Government in running condition.
The Company was initially incorporated on March 13, 2012 under the provisions of Companies -Act 206i as a private limited company. Later The Company was converted to Public Limited company(Reg No. 1614201073/074) on January 6th, 2017.
The Company listed on Nepal Stock Exchange in May 23, 2021.
