Oman National Engineering and Investment Company S.A.O.G. (ONEIC), formerly known as Oman National Electric Company, is an Omani joint stock company engaged in the operation, management and maintenance of power generation stations and other utilities. The Company activities include the operation and maintenance of gas turbine and diesel power stations, desalination and wastewater treatment plants, air conditioning plants, refrigeration equipment, hospital equipment, and electromechanical equipment and instrumentation. The Company is also involved in manufacturing equipments for the use of capacitor banks and desalination plants, pipes, vessels, storage tanks and other related material. ONEIC provides other services, such as meter reading, billing and collection of bills for electricity and water consumers. The main shareholders of the Company are Al Tahir Enterprises and A'Sharqiya Investment Holding Co. S.A.O.G.
