SMN Power Holding SAOG is a holding company which was enstablished under a government proposal for the development of an Independent Water and Power Producer (IWPP) at Barka and the privatization of Al Rusail Power Company in the year 2005. SMN Barka is situated at Barka, about 50 km northwest of Muscat, Oman. The facility provides power and electricity which water production capacity is about 26.4 MIGD or 120,000 cubic meters per day (5000 m3/hr).
